Legal Education Introduction
The Tunghai Graduate School of Law is the major complete research institute of legal studies in central Taiwan which includes undergraduate, Master's Program, and Ph.D. Program. The Institute provides an opportunity for many local legal professionals such as attorneys, judges and public prosecutors to get their advanced legal training to achieve a higher academic status.
However, the Institute aims not only at training legal professionals alone, but the institute also endeavors to train all qualified students to carry out independent legal research. To adapt the rapidly changing society, the focus of the Institute will be on the combination of Jurisprudence and other specialized subjects such as science and technology, finance, investment and banking, industrial operation and development, and modern business transactions. In addition, the basic subjects of the Continental and Anglo-American systems, such as constitutional law, administrative law, civil law (including contracts, torts, unjust enrichment, property, and family law), criminal law, civil procedure, criminal procedure, evidence, business laws (corporate, securities, insurance, and maritime laws) and jurisprudence will also be emphasized.
